Summary SinMRT does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works fully offline. Your location, if you choose to use it, is used once on your device to find the nearest station and is never stored or sent anywhere.

1. Who we are

SinMRT (the "App") is a free, offline route planner for Singapore's MRT and LRT network for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

None. SinMRT does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party. Specifically:

We do not require an account, sign-in, or email address.
We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses.
We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or marketing SDKs.
We do not contact any server. The network map, station data and fare tables are bundled with the App.

3. Location access

The App may ask for permission to access your location while it is in use (NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription). This happens only when you tap the button to set your nearest station as the starting point. The App requests a single, approximate location fix, compares it with the station coordinates bundled in the App, and selects the closest station. The location is processed entirely on your device; it is not recorded, saved, or transmitted.

Location access is optional — you can always pick a station by tapping the map or searching. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → SinMRT.

4. Third-party services

SinMRT does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, payment processors, or social media features. The App does not embed any web content or external trackers.

5. Children's privacy

SinMRT is suitable for users of all ages. Because the App does not collect any personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

6. Your rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
